Welcome everyone to my blog for my course in Human Development in Culture. While this blog primarily will be academic based, I will do my very best to make it entertaining and try to inject a little humour in it (which may be reduced to awful puns, but hopefully I can grab at least a pity laugh).

For the first post I will just stick to introducing myself so that everyone may have a little bit of context and understand a bit about me to further understand my posts. My name is Nick Fowler, and I am from Riverview, New Brunswick. I am in my fifth year and working on my second degree. This time around I will be receiving a degree with a major in psychology and a minor in religious studies. My first degree was a bachelor of business administration with the focus being in marketing and leadership studies.

While growing up, I participated in a wide range of activities which in turn granted me a wide range of opportunities and experiences. These would range from my participation in just about any sport I could get my hands on, to volunteer work, or leadership activities such as student government. These all became very important, as I worked at a day camp with a focus on physical activity. Each of my areas of focus contributed greatly by giving me the different skills necessary in order to be able to be a fantastic camp leader and role model.

For now, I'll leave that as my basic introduction. If anyone has any questions or comments, they can feel free to leave them in the box below.

Hope everyone has a great day!

PS. I promised bad puns so here we go

- A man wrote ten puns and entered them in a contest. He really wanted to win. Unfortunately, No pun in ten did.
